Arrow-Venlafaxine XR is a fully funded prescription medicine (restrictions apply) used in the treatment of depression, panic and anxiety disorders. Each modified-release tablet contains either 37.5mg, 75mg or 150mg venlafaxine (as hydrochloride). Do not take Arrow–Venlafaxine XR if you are taking another antidepressant in the MAOI class, or if you have an allergy to venlafaxine or any of the other ingredients. Use with caution if you have a history of aggression, fits, glaucoma, kidney, liver, blood pressure or heart problems, raised cholesterol, a history of fits or bipolar disorder,
abnormal bleeding tendencies, are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines. Side effects include nausea, dizziness, stomach, bowel or urinary tract problems, headache, diffi culty sleeping, drowsiness, nervousness, confusion, agitation, muscle tremor, fast heartbeat, menstrual problems, weight loss, sweating, hot flushes, hair loss, changes in eye sight, sexual function problems.
